5b started with the Hairball

5 b klassi õpilased asusid tutvuma lastekirjanikuga, kes on elu andnud Krõllile, onu Ööbikule, Triinule ja Taavile, Pille-Riinule ja Piilupardile. Alustasime Krõlliga. Mõned õpilased tegid kokkuvõtte raamatust "Krõll", teised tutvusid raamatu autoriga ja tutvustasid hiljem kogu klassile Ellen Niidu elu ja loomingut. Jõudsime tunnis kuulata ka Ellen Niidu luuletust "Koma". Lastele tuli meelde, et eelmisel aastal oli see luuletus olnud nende eesti keele õpikus.

Our fifth-formers began to get aquainted with the children´s writer who has created The Hairball, Uncle Nightingale, Triinu and Taavi, Pille-Riin and The Duck. We started with The Hairball. Some of the students made a survey of the book, while the others read about the author of the book and later on they told all the class about the life and works of Ellen Niit. We also managed to listen to a poem by Ellen Niit, called "The Comma". The students recalled that they had actually read the poem, as it had been in their textbooks the year before.

Mūsų penktokai pradėjo pažintį su vaikų literatūros rašytoja, kuri sukūrė „Pūkų kamuoliuką“, „Dėdę Lakštingalą“, „Triinu ir Taavi“, „Pille-Riin ir antį“. Mes pradėjome nuo Pūkų kamuoliuko. Kai kurie mokiniai apžvelgė knygą, tuo metu kiti skaitė apie knygos autorių. O vėliau jie visai klasei papasakojo apie autorę Ellen Niit ir jos darbus. Mums taip pat pavyko išklausyti jos poemą „Kablelis“. Mokiniai prisiminė, kad jie jau skaitę poemą, nes ji buvo vadovėliuose prieš metus.
